The Weep of a Reaper is my ongoing crime novel, which I submitted for my Dissertation. My supervisor commented “Description is strong, but character building and dialogue, in each sequence attuned to the emotional context of each scene (they’re all different, therefore all interesting broadening the appeal of the story itself). All your characters are strong, plausible and hiding things from one another for reasons that they think are important – everybody’s caught in their images of their self, by guilt, or a bizarre sense of responsibility. There’s a wonderful sense that the longer the story goes on for the more likely any part of it is to blow up. As a general note, I’d say that, if you can write more and faster, you should develop this into something that runs for 70,000 words, and look for a publisher.”
